CareTech new office telephony.

P&C have been supporting Park Foster Care for almost 10 years, as we installed a Nortel telephone system into their offices when they moved in 2007.

The Nortel telephone system was still supported by P&C but was end of life and additional expansion was no longer available.

Park Foster Care have moved into a new office space along with other companies that are part of the CareTech group.

P&C Helpdesk

P&C have been renewing our helpdesk system to offer customers the best possible end to end support.  The system will allow customers to create a ticket online with a description of there issue and get a quick response from one of our support team. This system will be live at the end of the month and we'll be contacting customers soon with further details of how to operate the system.  Please feel free to provide feedback and suggestions of any improvements going forward.

Watchguard purchase of HawkEye G

On June 7, 2016 WatchGuard announced the acquisition of the HawkEye G threat detection and response technology from Hexis Cyber Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of KEYW. By integrating the HawkEye G technology, WatchGuard will be able to offer customers a fully integrated, easy-to-deploy solution from network to endpoint, for addressing all four vectors of network security – prevention, detection, correlation, and response.

Solarwinds Upgrade & Enhancements

Solarwinds LEM (Logging Event Manager)

Currently we monitor many of our customers’ infrastructures using Solarwinds so we can keep them running effectively.  Following demand from customers to satisfy auditors and senior management, we are now producing reports from logs from externally facing devices like firewalls and routers.  P&C collate and produce reports charged on a quarterly basis using LEM.

Nokia FastMile enhances LTE networks to boost rural broadband

Nokia has launched a long term evolution (LTE) mobile broadband service, called FastMile, to help mobile network operators (MNOs) improve rural broadband coverage while making best use of available radio spectrum.

The FastMile service offers higher data rates, two and a half times the throughput and 12 times the coverage area of a comparable mobile network for residential phone, TV and broadband connections, claimed Nokia.

A disconnect has been established between what we’re doing and what the AirTight name suggests.
